Steve has been on an amazing journey since 2014. He was saved by the grace of Jesus Christ in a jail cell. Being on the inside of the penal system, he learned how the homes of men become broken. He was given a deep longing to work with at-risk youth. God gave him the vision to step into the youth’s lives before they become another statistic. God has called him into the mission field to work with YFC.
Since 2014, Steve has been volunteering with middle school students, helping them to further their relationship with Jesus Christ. He has taught lessons, facilitated small groups, and spend many appointments with students. He pursued and finished schooling at Cornerstone University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry Leadership.
Steve met his wife Ashley at Cornerstone Church in Brighton, MI. Ashley and Steve are married and have two handsome boys, Henry and Theodore. They enjoy exploring the outdoors including camping, fishing, and sitting next to a campfire.
Steve’s favorite movie and tv shows are anything Star Wars. His favorite meal is Ashley’s homemade buttered chicken. Steve enjoys bow hunting the elusive white-tailed buck. His goal in life is to spread the gospel through sound teaching and actions of love. His life verse is Psalms 103:1-4.
